My drawing class at North Port Art Center in Florida is beginning to take off. People are hearing about the class where figure and portrait sketching are on steroids: breaking it down, one piece after another , rethinking, relearning, reassembling, putting it all back together. No watching the clock here. The response this past Friday at the art center’s annual open house resulted in several more sign ups. By popular request, my next six week session Is moving from Thursday evening to morning, 9:30-12:30. I’m looking forward to introducing even more exciting drawing techniques to fresh and familiar faces alike.

Art's Alive!

Art is alive, even when your show just happens to be at a funeral home, which is exactly where my Art Reception takes place on Wednesday, March 20th, 2019. I belong to Charlotte Arts who organizes “Art in Public Places “. One of the venues is Charlotte Memorial Funeral Home, 9400 Indian Springs Cemetery Road, Punta Gorda, Fl. I attended a reception there last month and was I surprised? Here my work is shown in the conference room, however the evening of the reception everything is moved into the beautiful lobby and adjacent areas.
