Who has not been positively affected by artists during the pandemic, as they continue to work and share their talents, providing us with entertainment, visuals, and distractions from our isolation? As we cautiously attempt to restructure our lives with COVID-19 in mind, my reinvented art classes will soon roll out to include, Zoom, You Tube, and safe studio environments.
Coming Soon! Open Studio Sessions at the VAC in Punta Gorda. I will be overseeing the Friday morning sessions from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm., beginning May 22, with COVID-19 precautions in place.
Artists will be welcome to bring in their own art supplies along with 2D work in progress, or even begin a new piece with guidance. The open studio format is one of my favorites, providing artists with valuable critique, advice, and discussion on all varieties of artistic concerns. Plus, dissecting a piece, providing a new set of eyes, and expanding on solutions, is where my expertise comes in! Other topics might include, current news in the arts and trending artists, not to mention I'll be bringing in my own art supplies to work along with you. Expect open studio to be busy and fun!
