Art is alive, even when your show just happens to be at a funeral home, which is exactly where my Art Reception takes place on Wednesday, March 20th, 2019. I belong to Charlotte Arts who organizes “Art in Public Places “. One of the venues is Charlotte Memorial Funeral Home, 9400 Indian Springs Cemetery Road, Punta Gorda, Fl. I attended a reception there last month and was I surprised? Here my work is shown in the conference room, however the evening of the reception everything is moved into the beautiful lobby and adjacent areas. What a wonderful event they put on for the artist and guests with food, wine, and music in abundance. The theme for my show is Irish Springtime. With a bit o’ luck I’ll see some smilin’ eyes, some good ‘ol Irish imbibing, and maybe even a jig or two will break out. If you happen to be in Southwest Florida, you’re invited!
