Because it's the star of the mural, I saved the pink bloom until last. It also scared me! So maybe a little procrastination too.
Painting with a limited color pallet, using color-fast outdoor acrylics, can be a challenge when the goal is for the colors to pop. Through strategic rendering and balance the pink flower is glorious! Now that all the flowers are depicted, the petals practically float in the breeze and the colors bring smiles.
So I’m in the home stretch! After a few touch-ups and I’ll be posting the finished mural very soon!
