Sure, I thought about stocking up on some major art supplies when I saw what might happen with this virus, but like most artists, I have quite a bit on hand, and some of it I’ve had for years so why not use it up? I suppose some major masterpieces by other artists might be in the works, but If I had planned to do that, I know it would never happen. I’m a firm believer that the best art is produced without lofty aspirations.
In this light, one of my favorite art challenges is a simple figure study. That’s all this is. However, the extended right foot on this drawing is one of the best I’ve ever done. Mission accomplished!
