Entering into the isolation phase of the pandemic, I found myself with a few extra hours of studio time. While the art classes I teach have come to a halt, I’m still working my part time job at a grocery store. The stress is real. I don’t want to become a statistic. Fortunately my working hours were able to be transferred to the night shift when our store is closed to the public.
Possibly the ghost like quality of working the night shift has brought my current alter ego to the forefront. Here, a spry nymph negotiates her environment with panache.
I have no doubt that so many people, who must put themselves out there in the world of Covid19, summon up their reserve, their bravery, and their faith, that they will be able to walk on water.
