I’ve received acceptance into back to back national juried shows. First, the Open Season exhibition at Art Center Sarasota and just recently my painting, Sea Level, was accepted into the 12th Biennial National Art Exhibit at the Visual Arts Center in Punta Gorda. These successes along with a couple other placements at smaller local venues has provided a much appreciated morale boost!
However, as most artists know, acceptances, sales and prizes often come in waves, so we claim our bragging rights when they’re offered. Therefore, back to the drawing board waiting for the big one!
